On January 19th, 2011, Nicola Formichetti debuted his first collection for the house of Mungler.
The runway presentation, has taken place in a Paris garage and had as a musical director Lady Gaga.
The sound was familiar for the old house of Mungler, ( once recorded by the Thierry Mugler muse Lady Miss Kier ) but in more Gaga dance rythm, as a new approach of the Mungler old music ( by Gaga) and at clothes collection ( by Nicola Formichetti ).
How the past is changing not to present..but to future.
This was the feeling that Formicetti had for Mungler house, " for a house that always pushed to do something fresh and was ahead of his time".
The change from his minimal style into digital and technology, was a product of inspiration, through his endless travels. The need for knowing his new face for Mungler campain, ( while he was on the plane ) " satisfied " through facebook, where he first saw his model with really tattoos, all over his face and body..
